This and That

Owen and I have been under the weather the past few days, so needless to say we haven't been up to much,but we are still having fun!

Jackson & Owen

Today we started off the day at Jackson and Keesty's house! The boys played with trucks for a while, then we headed to Chick Fil A. We ate lunch and let the boys play. I was a little nervous about Owen not wanting to play and climb through the tubes and go down the slide, boy did he have so much fun! They had a little toddler area, and what did it have? A STEERING WHEEL!!! My kid was in heaven! Owen loves anything with wheels!!!
Thanks Jackson and Keesty for a fun afternoon. Let's do it again!
Now I gotta feed the Big O dinner, then head off to the casino with the Moto Girls!!!

Gigi's Birthday Dinner

Tonight we went out to Blake's parents for his mom's birthday dinner. It was filled with great food, a delicious cake and family! There was so much food, we left with plates to go. We love that.
and I made his mom an OU cake! Cute Creative Couple we are :)
Owen loves playing at Pops and Gigi's. They live on this nice acreage, so we went and played football in the pasture,ran around and enjoyed the nice weather.

Owen's 15 month checkup

Owen had his 15 month check up this morning,we've got a growing boy.The Dr. said he is right on target!
He weighed 22 pds 8 oz (30%)
Length - 31 1/2 in (75%)


We have been so blessed to have such a healthy little boy!
P.S. Did I mention he got a big boy haircut??? His hair was getting tangled to much and so long, which we loved the curliness but it was time to get it!!! He's so grown up!

Gracie and Owen

This sweet girl is my cousin, she was one of my flower girls! I love her to death! She came to stay with us a few days last week and we had a blast. We went to the mall, went to Build A Bear, just hung out,watched movies and had a good time. Thank you Gracie for coming to visit, Owen loved every minute of it! And come again soon!

First Boo Boo

Last Sunday Owen tripped and fell and got his first major boo boo! :( We rushed him to Urgent Care and my baby had to get 3 stitches on his forehead! I will take shots over my kid getting stitches anyday. Holding him down so he would stay still was the hardest thing. We were all crying. Once we got home, he was fine,playing and had no idea he was hurt!! What a sport!

I took him back today to get the stitches out. It was so fast,but he still didn't like being held tight to get them out! Way to go little boy!!! You are tough!!!
