She's married? Really?

Last weekend I went down to Houston to photograph a very special wedding. My old youth minister's daughter, the man who married Blake and I, married his daughter, my "sister". JILL GARY GOT MARRIED!!! What? Is she really old enough? She is and she was GORGEOUS!!! My wonderful inlaws and husband kept Owen for the weekend, so I could fly down and spend time with the Gary's. I had a great time visiting, laughing, decorating and celebrating the marriage of Jill and Tyler. Congrats you two and thanks for a wonderful weekend!

From baby to toddler ...

I can't believe my baby, I mean toddler is 2. Where does the time go? He brings absolute joy to our lives, and adore him more every day. We think he's the cutest, but we are partial :) He is talking so well and very active, and I mean ACTIVE!

Last week I met my friend Mandy at the park, to take some pics of her son, Liam. While we were at it,I thought I would take some pictures of Owen. He needed some 2 year pics, so why not. We dressed the boys alike, without even planning it. Liam and Owen had so much fun, running, sliding and laughing. I sure love that Mandy is on summer break, that means we get to spend a lot of time together!!! Thanks for a fun day Mandy and Liam!!!

Great friends

The weekend of my birthday, Blake and I met a group of my friends at Bourbon Street Cafe! We had a great time visiting, eating yummy food, and enjoying a night out without kids! I am blessed with some great friends, that I have had for years! I couldn't of picked anyone better :)

Happy 2nd Birthday, Owen

My sweet boy turned 2 on May 15, as you can tell it was Handy Manny theme!!! He woke up in HM jammies, had HM cake,decor and presents. It was suppose to be an outdoor party, but due to the weather that week we had to move it inside. And thanks to the Wagner family for letting us use the Fellowship Hall at their church. Honestly, it turned out perfect! Thanks to the Aunt Lar & Uncle Eric for bringing the cake, and NOT eating it on the way!!! And thanks to my mom and my friend Brandy for helping set up and clean up! To Eric for using your hot air to blow up the balloons! Thanks to all our friends and family that came, to help us celebrate.
We are blessed!

My 30th

The weekend before my 30th birthday, I was shooting a wedding for a friend, so my mom and I decided to celebrate. We stayed at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Tulsa. I thought it was just us all weekend, much to my surprise she invited Brittany and Connie to join us!!! I was in total shock. I thought they were just gonna be there for dinner and a little gambling, but they were staying with us ALL weekend!!! Saturday, I went and shot the wedding, then went back to the hotel and got ready for dinner. My childhood friend, Rachel and her mom, Tamra came to meet us. We ate at a yummy Italian Restaurant at the Casino, then gambled some more! I found my new favorite game..POPPIT!!! Thanks mom and friends for a wonderful weekend!

My sweet Grandpa C.L. went to be with Jesus, March 21. He was a funny man and a Christian man. He loved his church, antiques and his family! I will miss him dearly but I know he's celebrating with others who went before him! Thanks for the memories!!! I love you Grandpa!

Free Rusty's Custard

I'm so glad to be a fan of Rusty's Frozen Custard on Facebook. Every once in a while they will do free stuff, for the first fan or the first 5 fans to come in. So today, I looked and it said "the first 5 fans to come in and say hi to Erik, got a free regular one topping custard!" That saved me about $4 folks!!! Thanks Rusty's for my freebie today!!!
