Snow baby

Well this is the first snow we got Owen in. The last time was around Christmas and he had an ear and sinus infection so he just had to watch it from the inside! He was so ready to go outside, we got out there and he didn't know what to think about it. The kid needs snow boots. I just put shoes on him and wrapped them up in Target sacks. It worked!!!
He was doing pretty good until he took a tumble face first in the snow. I felt bad bc I laughed, he just looked so cute! Then he stood up and was looking at the snow all over his gloves. Guess we will try it again!

Hello 2010

We started off the new year seeing a lot of old friends that we haven't seen in a while. Owen and I took a trip down to Dallas to see my BFF Bethany and Savannah! We had so much fun and the kids had a great time playing! I finally even made it to Babe's, talk about delicious! Thank you Lilley family for letting us crash your place for a few days. I miss you already!

A few weeks ago I met a group of high school and college friends at Jo's Pizza in Purcell. Let's see there were 14 adults and 7 kids, can we talk about CRAZINESS but so much fun! A special thanks to Aunt Lar and Uncle Eric for helping out with my rowdy child. Owen was on the go and didn't want to sit and eat. Thanks Lar for putting it together! You are amazing!

Finally we celebrated Blake's 29th birthday! He was off that day so it was just the 3 of us, then his parents took us to eat at Tarahamara's! And of course in Mexican style they brought out the sambraro and sang Happy Birthday! He was a little embarrassed!!! Happy Birthday daddy! We love you!

More Christmas

Last weekend we celebrated Christmas with Blake's family and my dad and Cheryl! Owen loved opening up presents and helping pass them out.
I honestly don't know where everything is gonna go!

I hope everyone has had a wonderful Christmas! Our past week has been a little crazy,so sorry for the mass about of postings and pictures! My mom came here for Christmas,it has been wonderful having her here. We had so much fun and loved getting to spend Christmas day with her. We've cooked dinners,baked cookies,ate lots of candy & made a Choo Choo Train. Owen got spoiled like crazy. From Handy Manny stuff,puzzles,books,3 in 1 Tricycle,golf clubs,table & chairs,tunnel & tent,Bouncy horse, Power Wheel Lightning McQueen and an OU helmet signed by 3 of the OU heisman winners...Billy Sims,Steve Owens and Jason White. So yes, our house is a huge playground right now!

Long time no blog

I have been horrible about blogging lately.There have been so many things going on. Let me do a little updating. We had Thanksgiving with Blake's family this year, so the weekend/week of Thanksgiving, Owen and I went to visit Grammee. We went to the Fayetteville Town Square lighting, saw Santa and tried to do a few 18 month pics of Owen. The week after Thanksgiving we put out our Christmas decorations. I was so excited to get everything out to see Owen's reaction. This past weekend, I went to my friend Mandy's house for her son Liam's 1st Birthday party! Notice the not so OU ball Owen is holding? :) Happy Birthday Liam!!!

We are so ready for Christmas to get here. My mom will be here for several days, making our Gingerbread Train house, going to see Christmas lights and celebrating the reason for the season! We hope everyone has a great holiday week with family!!!
